After back-to-back seasons of signing one-year deals as a restricted free agent, Weal will finally get the opportunity to test the market. The 25-year-old played in just 23 games this past year, but he managed to rack up eight goals and four helpers in addition to averaging more than a point per game in the minors with AHL Lehigh Valley. There will be plenty of suitors for the center's signature, including the Golden Knights, who could still swoop in on him once free agency kicks off July 1.
