The 25-year-old was set to become an unrestricted free agent, but he re-upped with the Kings for three more years earlier in June. After suffering a knee injury that required surgery in April, Toffoli is expected to be fully recovered by the time training camp rolls around. He netted 16 goals and 34 points in 63 games last season, a slight drop-off in stats regardless of the injury. Toffoli is a solid forward with power-play capabilities, which made him worth it for the Kings to keep around.
