Yamamoto oozes talent. He's one of the best sitckhandlers in the 2017 draft. He can snipe with the best. And his skating might just be at the top of the list. So, why did he go 22nd in the Entry Draft? Yamamoto makes Tyler Johnson look tall. And fat. Yamamoto stands 5-foot-8 and about 150 pounds soaking wet. Still, he goes into the dirty areas and still tries to throw his "weight" around. Yamamoto is fast and slippery, and smart enough to stay away from big hits. His upside is absolutely tantalizing, but there are questions about his ability to play anywhere but on the top line. Then again, haters tried to discount Marty St. Louis and the aforementioned Johnson. Yamamoto is the kind of fantasy pick that could end up being an offensive home run for lucky owners and landing in Oil Country is probably the best place for him. He will play alongside either Connor McDavid or Leon Draisaitl. Get him on your roster.
