Getting Khaira under contract should allow the Oilers to meet the minimum forward exposure requirements ahead of the Vegas expansion draft. Considering the winger has just 25 NHL contests under his belt -- in which he has tallied three points -- it would be somewhat surprising to see the Golden Knights take him over a player like Mark Letestu or Benoit Pouliot, who might also be available. If the 22-year-old is still in Edmonton following the expansion draft, fantasy owners may want to keep an eye on him during training camp as he could secure a regular role in the lineup.
