Coming into Sunday, the only time a Houston Texans quarterback had accounted for five touchdowns in team history was in 2014 when Ryan Fitzpatrick threw for six scores against the Tennessee Titans. In Week 4, the Titans added to their own misery against their AFC South rivals after being beaten 57-14 in a record-setting day.
Houston had never touched 50 points in its history before Sunday's effort. Deshaun Watson also became just the second quarterback to account for five touchdowns in a Texans game with his four passing touchdowns and his rushing score to boot. The rookie easily eclipsed his Dober Projected Fantasy Point total with 33.72 DFP in his breakout game.
You really couldn't go wrong with any of the Houston players in Week 4 from a fantasy perspective. Watson, Lamar Miller, DeAndre Hopkins and Will Fuller all far exceeded their Dober Projected Fantasy Points totals.
On the other side, Tennessee has to go back to the drawing board and figure out what in the heck went wrong. The Titans barely possessed the ball in this game, amassing just over 23 minutes with the ball. Five turnovers were clearly to blame.
Marcus Mariota salvaged his fantasy day with a pair of rushing touchdowns, but he also left the game in the third quarter due to a hamstring injury.
