Freeman was bottled up for most of the game as he took on Philly's top-ranked run defense, but he did manage to score Atlanta's only touchdown. The shifty back slipped out of the backfield in the second quarter and was wide open for a scrambling Matt Ryan for a six-yard touchdown pass. As for the 2017 campaign, a concussion and strong season by Tevin Coleman prevented Freeman from cracking double digits in touchdowns for the third straight year. However, he ranked 22nd in the league with 1,182 yards from scrimmage. Couple that with eight total touchdowns and it's not a bad "off year."
