The Philadelphia Eagles might be the No. 1 seed in the NFC, but they aren't being given a ton of respect with Carson Wentz out of the lineup. Most of the Eagles' offensive players aren't expected to have great days at the office against the Atlanta Falcons, but they're amongst the top fantasy sleepers in the first of four playoff games this weekend.
Nick Foles (4.83 Dober Fantasy Points Per Game)
Projected Fantasy Points vs. Falcons: 9.5
Nick Foles isn't being given a lot of respect in this game, and we don't quite understand why. Sure, his last five quarters of football have been bad; he has completed just 47 percent of his passes for 202 yards with a touchdown and two picks in that span. However, after a couple weeks to prepare for this game, the Eagles really want Foles to "let it rip" in this game. He's only going to need one touchdown pass to have a good chance at beating such a low Projected Fantasy Points total.
Alshon Jeffrey (10.46 Dober Fantasy Points Per Game)
Projected Fantasy Points vs. Falcons: 9.5
Alshon Jeffrey rare leaves the field for the Eagles. He was on the field for at least 92 percent of Philadelphia's snaps in five straight games from Week 12 through Week 16, and he probably won't miss more than maybe one or two snaps in this game.
If Nick Foles is really going to be allowed to chuck the ball all over the yard on Saturday, Jeffrey figures to be the beneficiary.
It's been a struggle at the end of the season for Jeffrey; Foles and Carson Wentz have combined to complete just 10-of-25 passes to him in his last five games. However, if Foles can find a little bit of consistency on Saturday, Jeffrey could be an easy winner on Dober Play Cards.
Jake Elliott (8.93 Dober Fantasy Points Per Game)
Projected Fantasy Points vs. Falcons: 8.0
We don't focus on kickers all that often at Dober Games, but Jake Elliott has a chance to make a huge impact on Saturday. Let's just toss Week 17 out the window. The Eagles were awful against Dallas, and the whole squad played that game out with zero care in the world. Elliott had nine games this season scoring double-digits in Dober Fantasy Points.
The Falcons allowed 29 field goals this year, and if Elliott knocks through two of them on Saturday, he'll probably beat this low Projected Fantasy Points total.
Trey Burton (4.55 Dober Fantasy Points Per Game)
Projected Fantasy Points vs. Falcons: 3.5
Trey Burton is clear the No. 2 tight end in the Philly offense, and Zach Ertz is going to eat up almost all of the tight end fantasy points for the Eagles. Burton has carved out at least nine snaps in every game he played this year, including a lot of work in the red zone. The former Florida Gator caught 12 passes in his final five games of the year, including three touchdowns. Burton could be one given pass away from beating such a low Projected Fantasy Points total.
Justin Hardy (3.13 Dober Fantasy Points Per Game)
Projected Fantasy Points vs. Eagles: 3.0
Justin Hardy has quietly played more snaps over the course of the last two games than Julio Jones. The production isn't quite there for Hardy, but he definitely has enough time on the field to beat such a low Projected Fantasy Points total.
Matt Ryan only threw the ball 30 times against the Rams last week, and we suspect he's going to need to chuck it around the yard in the City of Brotherly Love a lot more this weekend. Hardy should be a big beneficiary and figures to blow past these 3.0 Dober Fantasy Points.
