Broncos at Redskins Fantasy Recap (Week 16, 2017)

The Washington Redskins never had an impact on the playoff chase this season, but they've definitely played better ball down the stretch of the season. They won their second-straight game by beating the Denver Broncos 27-11 in Week 16.

Kirk Cousins didn't have his best game, going just 19-for-37 with an interception. That said, he threw three touchdowns to beat his Projected Fantasy Points total.

Each of Washington's top four receivers in that game beat their PFP totals. Ryan Grant had four catches for 85 yards while Josh Doctson, Jamison Crowder and Vernon Davis all scored touchdowns.

The real story of the game was the woefulness of the Denver offense.

Brock Osweiler is clearly at the tail end of his career as a starting quarterback. He went 22-for-38 for 193 yards with an interception. He put the Broncos in the end zone once, but it took all the way into the fourth quarter to get the job done.

C.J. Anderson had a big fourth quarter between catching passes out of the backfield and ultimately scoring a touchdown. He and Devontae Booker were the only two Broncos who beat their PFP totals.
