The 2008 Detroit Lions might have one team match their 0-16 mark, but at least they know they aren't going to have two teams do it in the same year.

The San Francisco 49ers popped their 2017 season cherry in a 31-21 victory the New York Giants in Week 10.

If this is the last time we see C.J. Beathard – and there's a good chance that will be the case with Jimmy Garoppolo ready to start off the Niners' bye next week – he certainly left a good final impression.

Beathard went 19-for-25 for 288 yards and two touchdowns, and he was one of the seven 49ers who beat their Projected Fantasy Points totals on the day.

The Giants are now at a new low at 1-8, and there are going to be plenty of questions waiting for Ben McAdoo when he gets back to the Meadowlands on Sunday night. The Giants were terribly lifeless against a horrid team, and the only reason they got within 10 points at the end of the game was due to a garbage touchdown with a minute left in the game.
