49ers at Bears Fantasy Recap (Week 13, 2017)

Jimmy Garoppolo didn't lead the San Francisco 49ers on a single touchdown drive in Week 13 against the Chicago Bears. Yet when he needed to get his team down the field and generated the game-winning points in a bizarre 15-14 win in the Windy City.

The Niners possessed the ball for over 38 minutes of this game, running almost double the plays of the Bears.

Garoppolo had a lot of problems getting the ball in the end zone, turning five red zone drives into field goals instead of touchdowns. Still, the fact that he was able to put the team in that position to score five times is a huge upgrade from what we've seen of late and should be considered an encouraging sign.

Garoppolo finished 26-for-37 for 293 yards with an interception.

Both Trent Taylor and Marquise Goodwin had great days for the Niners as both approached 100 receiving yards and beat their Projected Fantasy Points totals.

Mitchell Trubisky was efficient, going 12-for-15 for 102 yards and a touchdown, but he didn't beat his PFP total due to the lack of time the Bears had the football.

The Chicago offense ran just 36 plays. It's no wonder that Dontrelle Inman was the only notable player to beat his PFP for the Bears because of what he did on offense. Tarik Cohen ended up over his PFP as well, but that was only thanks to a punt return for a touchdown.
