No one gave the Philadelphia Eagles much of a chance of winning the NFC even though they were the No. 1 seed in the conference. They were short underdogs against the Minnesota Vikings in the NFC Championship Game, yet when the dust settled, they proved they were the best team in the conference by thrashing the Vikes 38-7.
The star of the game was clearly Nick Foles.
Foles, who had a single-digit Projected Fantasy Points total for the second-straight playoff start, was brilliant, throwing for 352 yards and three touchdowns.
Not surprisingly, with Foles having such a great day at the office, several of the Philadelphia receivers were winners on Dober Play Cards, too. Zach Ertz led the team in receiving with eight catches for 93 yards while both Alshon Jeffrey and Torrey Smith were winners, too thanks to the fact that they combined to catch 10 balls for 154 yards and three touchdowns.
The Minnesota offense started the day brightly with a touchdown drive to kickoff the game, but it wasn't able to get any traction thereafter.
Jerick McKinnon had a great fantasy day with 11 catches for 86 yards, but he and last week's hero, Stefon Diggs were the only men on this offense who beat their PFP totals.
The Vikings now head into an offseason without a single quarterback signed to their roster. All signs point to Case Keenum getting resigned and kept as the team's starting quarterback while Sam Bradford and Teddy Bridgewater are left to walk, but after Keenum went just 28-for-48 for 271 yards with a touchdown and three turnovers in the NFC Championship Game, that will certainly get many in the organization wondering if this is the right move for the future.
