Nelson also logged five snaps in the exhibition opener before sitting out the Raiders' second preseason tilt with the Rams entirely. The lack of playing time shouldn't be viewed as a concern for a 33-year-old receiver in his 11th NFL training camp, as Nelson won't be forced to fight for a starting role in his first season in silver and black. Though he's no longer a big-play threat, Nelson makes up for his diminished speed with precise route running and still offers a quality red-zone target at 6-foot-3 and 217 pounds.
