The biggest question everyone had this week about the New York Giants was who they were going to throw the ball to against the Denver Broncos.
Answer: It didn't matter.
On a night that Eli Manning threw for just 128 yards, the G-Men finally secured their first victory of the 2017 season by beating the Broncos 20-3.
New York was up against the best rush defense in the NFL, but Orleans Darkwa made a mockery of the fact that Denver hadn't allowed anyone to rush for more than 54 yards against it this year. Darkwa more than doubled that total, rushing for 117 yards on 21 carries.
As far as those Giants wide receivers are concerned, Roger Lewis had one grab for 15 yards, Tavarres King had one reception for seven yards and Jerell Adams had one catch for six yards. Needless to say, this is what happens when you assume at least some wide receiver for the Giants is going to come up big. These three combined to log 4.3 Dober Fantasy Points.
The Broncos had about as nightmarish of a game as you could have expected. Trevor Siemian didn't play well, but it wasn't all his fault. By the end of the game, Emmanuel Sanders was getting x-rays on his ankle, and Demaryius Thomas was standing in a jacket without his helmet thanks to a leg injury.
