New Orleans Saints - Fantasy News
The New Orleans Saints must have felt like they were in a dream in Week 13. On a day when the rest of the NFC South was beaten, the Who Dat Nation beat the Carolina Panthers 31-21 to open up a de facto game and a half lead in the division with just four games left to be played.
The Saints swept the season series against Carolina due to its newly-found running game. Mark Ingram and Alvin Kamara once again smashed their Projected Fantasy Points totals, combining for 23 carries, 145 yards and three touchdowns on the ground while adding 11 receptions for 103 yards. Michael Thomas also beat his PFP with five grabs for 70 yards and a score.
The Panthers were much more competitive this time around against the boys from the Bayou than they were when they were trashed in Charlotte back in September.
That said, there was a clear divide between these two teams on this day.
Cam Newton had a nice statistical day for Dober Fantasy players, accounting for 20.42 Dober Fantasy Points. Both Jonathan Stewart and Christian McCaffrey scored touchdowns as did Devin Funchess.
