There have been some incredibly cruel losses in NFL history. The New Orleans Saints have never felt one tougher than this.

The boys from the Bayou looked for anything like they were going to walk out of U.S. Bank Stadium 24-23 winners, but they conceded a 61-yard touchdown on the last play of the game from Case Keenum to Stefon Diggs to watch their season end in traumatic fashion.

Most look at the last touchdown as the one that gave the Vikings' a spot in the NFC Championship Game. From our standpoint, it was the pass that put Keenum and Diggs past their Projected Fantasy Points total.

Keenum went 25-for-40 for 318 yards with a touchdown and a pick. Diggs finished with six grabs for 137 yards and the biggest score of his career.

The sledding was tough on the ground for all of the running backs in this game. Both Latavius Murray and Jerick McKinnon beat their PFP totals thanks to their rushing touchdowns. The two only combined for 84 yards on 27 carries.

The same struggles rang true for Alvin Kamara and Mark Ingram. These two had 21 carries for just 71 yards with just one carry for 10+ yards on the day between them.

Kamara and Michael Thomas were both winners on Dober Play Cards, though, and they had Drew Brees to thank.

Facing a 17-0 deficit, Brees rallied the troops to score 21 of the next 24 points to take the lead. Brees overcame two interceptions in a scoreless first half to ultimately beat his PFP total as well.
