The Vikings listed Cook as a non-participant on their estimated practice report Monday, but the running back took a step forward during Tuesday's team session. While Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer said earlier in the day that "there's a possibility" Cook will play Thursday against the Rams, Minnesota might not have a clear picture for the 23-year-old's Week 4 outlook until observing him during Wednesday's practice. For his part, Cook said he views himself as "day to day" and was non-committal about his availability for Thursday, per Chris Tomasson of the St. Paul Pioneer Press.
