There aren't many teams who are going to go into their offseason feeling quite as good as the San Francisco 49ers. They won their fifth-straight game to end the regular season by beating the Los Angeles Rams 34-13 in Week 17.
Once again, Jimmy Garoppolo was the hero for the Niners. He didn't have his best day with his new team, going 20-for-33 for 292 yards with two touchdowns and two picks. However, it was his mere presence and ability to make plays that really made the difference in this game.
Carlos Hyde also had two rushing touchdowns for the 49ers. If this was his final game in San Francisco, it was a good one. He tallied 21 Dober Fantasy Points.
The Rams benched all of their regulars and let Sean Mannion have control of this entire game. The results were predictably poor.
The Oregon State product wasn't a train wreck, going 20-for-34 for 169 yards, but you could tell that Sean McVay just wanted this game to be over with so he could get onto the team's playoff game next week.
Lance Dunbar was the Rams' one touchdown scorer on the day, and he was one of the many reserves who beat low Projected Fantasy Points totals.
