Raiders at Chiefs Fantasy Recap (Week 14, 2017)

The Kansas City Chiefs busted out of their slump in a big way in Week 14, beating the Oakland Raiders 26-15 to take control of the AFC West once again.

The Chiefs finally got back to their old ways, asking Alex Smith to manage the game while Kareem Hunt dominated both on the ground and as a receiver. It's the first time since Week 5 that Hunt has gone over 100 yards on the ground.

Smith made a few big throws, but for the most part, the game wasn't on his shoulders for the first time in a while. He did put Tyreek Hill, Travis Kelce and Albert Wilson over 70 receiving yards, but the only man of note who smashed his Projected Fantasy Points total was Hunt.

It was also nice to see Charcandrick West play a bigger role in the Kansas City backfield. He had 25 yards and a touchdown to beat his PFP total.

Kansas City had an impressive seven players with at least 8.50 Dober Fantasy Points on the day.

Derek Carr was intercepted twice in a generally frustrating day for the Oakland offense.

Marshawn Lynch only beat his PFP total thanks to his third-quarter touchdown. Michael Crabtree, returning from his suspension, had seven grabs for 60 yards and a two-point conversion. Jared Cook stole the show with 75 yards and a touchdown.

Maybe the biggest news out of this one is that Amari Cooper didn't catch a single pass. He only played a handful of snaps and injured his ankle once again. Cooper seems to be over his concussion, but his ankle continues to be a big issue that could plague him the rest of the way this season.
