Bengals at Jaguars Fantasy Recap (Week 9, 2017)

Without any real warning, the Jacksonville Jaguars suspended Leonard Fournette for their Week 9 game against the Cincinnati Bengals.

Fortunately, they didn't need him.

The Jags ran out to a comfortable 23-7 triumph over the Bengals on Sunday at home to improve to 5-3. With Deshaun Watson out for the season, Jacksonville is suddenly looking like a good bet to return to the postseason for the first time since 2007.

The big story on this day was the Jacksonville defense, a unit that has put together some of the best numbers in all of football this year, fantasy and otherwise. The Jaguars sacked Andy Dalton twice and allowed just five plays to cover 10 or more yards. Cincinnati finished with just 148 total yards of offense.

Needless to say, there weren't many Bengals beating their Projected Fantasy Points totals.

Joe Mixon just barely beat his PFP of 10 thanks to the fact that he scored Cincinnati's only touchdown of the game while Tyler Kroft was a comfortable winner thanks to his two receptions that covered 20 and 59 yards.

A.J. Green was ejected from the game for fighting, limiting his day to just one catch for six yards.

The Jacksonville offense only scored one touchdown on the afternoon, a Marqise Lee catch from Blake Bortles. Chris Ivory, T.J. Yeldon and Bortles all surpassed their PFPs as well.
