The Indianapolis Colts cost themselves the No. 2 pick in the NFL Draft in Week 17 when they almost inexplicably beat the Houston Texans in what will be the final game of the Chuck Pagano era.
If this really was the end for Pagano in Indianapolis, it was a nice sendoff in an otherwise frustrating season. The same could be said for Frank Gore, who had 100 yards on 24 carries to beat his Projected Fantasy Points total.
Jack Doyle also produced a win on Dober Play Cards with his 38 yards and a touchdown.
Jacoby Brissett, likely playing as a starting quarterback for the last time in his career barring some injuries, went just 15-for-25 for 114 yards, but he did throw a touchdown.
The Texans scored a rare offensive touchdown in Week 17. Alfred Blue did the damage to beat his PFP total. Lamar Miller was essentially a no-show, though there really wasn't any good reason to put him in the line of fire with the Texans finishing the season at 4-12.
With DeAndre Hopkins out of the lineup, the only Texans receiver who really stepped up was Chris Thompson. Thompson had three grabs for 54 yards and was the only man to have a play that eclipsed 25+ yards in the entire game.
