Irsay has now chimed in about Luck's health on back-to-back days, but his statement Tuesday marks the first mention of the nature of injury. After Monday's comments, the Colts are clearly bracing for no Luck on the field during the offseason program and perhaps the early stages of training camp, as he remains without a timetable to continue throwing. "I would say that certainly he should be pretty close to being ready and really throwing it around pretty damn well once training camp comes," Irsay said. "That's the way the doctors feel right now." The assertion comes on the heels of head coach Chuck Pagano telling Stephen Holder of The Indianapolis Star on Tuesday that the Colts felt the procedure "was the best thing for Andrew moving forward." With the long-term health of their franchise quarterback in mind, the Colts will almost certainly take a cautious approach during the remaining steps in Luck's recovery.
