The Detroit Lions kept their playoff hopes alive in Week 15 with a resounding 20-10 victory over the Chicago Bears.
The Lions were great on offense on this day, but there are some real concerns about their ground game going forward.
Ameer Abdullah was activated for the first time since Thanksgiving when he injured his neck, but he was hardly used in the backfield. Theo Riddick left the game with a wrist injury. With those two out, the last man standing is rookie Tion Green.
Green had a decent enough day for his limited workload, carrying the ball 10 times for 35 yards. However, the Cincinnati product has just one carry for more than seven yards of the 25 in his young career and doesn't seem to be a viable starter on Dober Play Cards going forward.
One doesn't need to look very deep into the box score to know that the Bears struggled mightily in this game. Mitchell Trubisky had to throw the ball 36 times against just 15 rushing attempts for the team.
Trubisky did beat his Projected Fantasy Points total due to a couple late drives that put him over 300 yards passing, but John Fox knows that he isn't winning most games when Jordan Howard and Tarik Cohen combine to run the ball just 12 times.
