The Dallas Cowboys weren't going to make the same mistakes against the New York Giants this year they did a campaign ago.
Dallas came out of the blocks with a real gusto on Sunday Night Football, using four drives of at least 40 yards in length in the first half to open up a 16-0 lead. The Cowboys never took their foot off the gas pedal from there and coasted to a 19-3 victory.
This was one of the many games in Week 1 of the season that didn't really have a tremendous amount of fantasy football impact. Dan Bailey's four field goals made him one of the more accomplished players in the entire game by fantasy standards, especially since the Giants were held out of the end zone and really only had one good drive the entire game.
It was good to see Ezekiel Elliott on the field and running hard. He posted a 104-yard game to kick off his campaign, and he was really the catalyst in an otherwise drab night at the fantasy office on Sunday Night Football.
