Williams sustained the injury in Sunday's win over the Giants and was spotted in a walking boot afterwards. While it doesn't sound like his ankle injury is overly severe, Williams' availability for the Week 2 matchup with the Broncos may be difficult to predict if he ends up being limited in practice all week. In the event Williams fails to progress in his recovery by the time Sunday arrives and is forced to the sideline for the contest, Cole Beasley and Jason Witten could take on elevated roles in the Cowboys' passing attack behind star receiver Dez Bryant.
