Bernard suffered an unspecified injury near the end of the Bengals' Week 4 win over the Falcons. The Bengals will release their first practice report of the week later Wednesday, which should clarify the nature of Bernard's issue. The report will also clarify the extent of backfield mate Joe Mixon's (knee) participation in Wednesday's session. Mixon is believed to be trending toward a return to action Sunday against the Dolphins, which would probably translate to a lessened role for Bernard.
