The Chicago Tribune's Rich Campbell doesn't expect Wheaton to play but also wasn't ready to rule the receiver out. Limited at practice all week, Wheaton could come down to a game-time decision for a team that badly needs any help it can get at wide receiver. With Josh Bellamy (ankle) also questionable, the Bears may end up starting Deonte Thompson or Tre McBride, both of whom have more experience returning kicks than catching passes. Wheaton does at least seem to be on track for Week 3, if nothing else.
