Marvin Lewis may as well pack his bags right now. There's no way he's going to be back as the coach of the Cincinnati Bengals next season after his club was beaten by the Chicago Bears 33-7 in Week 14.
The loss dropped the Bengals to just 5-8 on the season and ended any reasonable chance of getting into the playoffs.
The Chicago offense easily had its best day of the season against a Cincinnati defense that looked completely disinterested. Mitchell Trubisky threw for 271 yards and a touchdown, including getting Kendall Wright to 10 catches for 107 yards.
All four of Trubisky, Wright, Jordan Howard and Tarik Cohen beat their Projected Fantasy Points totals while lesser-known commodities like Joshua Bellamy, Adam Shaheen and Dion Sims got to their totals as well.
The Bengals were embarrassing on this day. Andy Dalton didn't even complete half of his passes before he was given the hook in favor of A.J. McCarron in the fourth quarter. Dalton threw for just 141 yards with a touchdown and a pick.
Giovani Bernard had the backfield all to himself with both Joe Mixon and Jeremy Hill out. Bernard was the lone bright spot on the day, amassing 130 total yards of offense to beat his PFP total.
A.J. Green, who had beaten his PFP total in three of his previous four games, had his lowest fantasy output since November 5 after catching five passes for 64 yards.
