Panthers at Jets Fantasy Recap (Week 12, 2017)

For as great as the story was that the New York Jets beat their projected regular season wins total in the first half of the year, their chances of actually making the playoffs essentially evaporated when they lost to the Carolina Panthers, 35-27, in Week 12.

Don't be fooled by the Panthers' 35 points. Luke Kuechly scored a defensive touchdown while Kaelin Clay returned a punt for a touchdown to boost the effort. There were still some solid efforts for Dober Play Cards, but the day as a whole wasn't good for the Carolina offense.

The worst news of all was that Greg Olsen limped off the field and didn't return. This was his first game back after missing more than two months, but it doesn't seem as though his surgically repaired foot is entirely healed.

The Jets actually had the better day at the office for Dober players. Josh McCown did lose a fumble, but he crushed his PFP total once again by throwing for 307 yards and three touchdowns.

Robby Anderson had the best day a New York receiver has had all season long, accounting for six catches, 146 yards and two touchdowns. Jermaine Kearse also had over 100 yards and a score. This marked the first time New York had two 100+ yard receivers in a game since Eric Decker and Brandon Marshall both got there on September 15 of last season.
