Samuel could be a regular spectator during practices until his health returns to normal following the wideout's recent procedure to correct an irregular heartbeat. Panthers head coach Ron Rivera relayed Wednesday that Samuel is "doing well," but didn't offer any indication that the second-year player would be ready to play in Sunday's season opener against the Cowboys, per Max Henson of the Panthers' official site. It's generally expected that Samuel will sit out Week 1, but how long he truly is absent remains to be seen.
