Ravens at Steelers Fantasy Recap (Week 14, 2017)

The Pittsburgh Steelers and Baltimore Ravens are best-known for their defense. Thus, it was insanely surprising that the two teams combined for 77 points in a 39-38 Steelers victory on Sunday Night Football. It was the highest-scoring game in the history of these rivals, barely eclipsing the 42-34 game Pittsburgh won at Baltimore in 1997. The win also clinched the AFC North for the Steelers and kept the Ravens from solidifying themselves as contenders for at least one of the two AFC Wild Card spots.

Ben Roethlisberger came up one big in this one. The future Hall of Famer erased a disaster of a 31-6 Baltimore run by leading the team on four straight scoring drives in the fourth quarter. Big Ben threw for 506 yards, the second-most in his career, and it marked the third time that he threw for 500 yards. No other quarterback in NFL history has thrown for 500+ yards three times in their career.

Roethlisberger also set career-highs with 66 pass attempts and 44 completions.

Needless to say, the fantasy numbers were off the charts for Dober Fantasy players. A whopping seven men had at least 15 Dober Fantasy Points in this game, including three running backs and both quarterbacks. Antonio Brown was seemingly one of the only men who didn't find the end zone in this game, but he hauled in 11 passes for 213 yards. Le'Veon Bell led all scorers thanks to his three touchdowns.

Baltimore ran the ball effectively all game. Alex Collins had the best game of his career, running for 120 yards and a score while amassing 46 yards in the receiving game. Javorius Allen only touched the ball eight times, but he picked up 57 scrimmage yards and two touchdowns to pace the Ravens.
