Nowitzki was pulled early from Sunday's game against the Bucks, as a sore Achilles was giving him some discomfort. While the injury isn't considered serious, the Mavericks are going into a back-to-back set, so it seems likely Nowitzki will get at least one of the games off to limit his workload this late in the season. We should see his status updated following Tuesday's morning shootaround, but if he misses time, Dwight Powell would likely be the main beneficiary in minutes, while the Mavericks would likely go with a bigger lineup that features Nerlens Noel as the team's starting center.
