Hicks underwent X-rays after fouling a ball off his left ankle Saturday but thankfully was diagnosed with a bruise. The 28-year-old will get Sunday to recover but is expected to be able to play once the Yankees get to Tampa Bay on Monday, Bryan Hoch of MLB.com reports.
