Sano suffered a lower-leg bruise back on Sept. 4 when sliding into second base and has not appeared in a game since. Ehire Adrianza will get another start at third base in his absence. He took batting practice and fielded grounders at third base prior to the game, Phil Miller of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports, so he appears to be working his way back, though it's uncertain when he'll be cleared to return.
