Since returning from a knee injury Sept. 1, McCann has made just six starts, while Martin Maldonado has gotten the nod on eight occasions. McCann is just 3-for-18 since his return, so unless he turns things around at the plate, he's likely to continue finding himself on the bench more often than not.
