How old do I have to be to participate?
We currently require all players to be at least 18 years of age or older (or the minimum age in your state of residence, which may be 19 or 21)
Why do you need to verify my identity?
While we trust our users, we must comply with government regulations on anti-money laundering procedures. We must know 100% that you are you. There is no way for us to get around this. Any payout must have full information up to date.
If you are planning on requesting a payout, we suggest you send in your documents beforehand so as to avoid delays. Don’t worry though; we generally process these requests in less than 1 business day.
Why do I need to fill out tax forms?
At Dober Games we take government regulatory compliance seriously. All players who process a payout or more than $600 in a calendar year, must fill out 1099 Misc IRS forms.
How do you ensure the safety of the personal information I provide?
We use a combination of industry standards and regulatory guidelines to make sure every bit of information you submit to Dober stays safe. Only high level employees have access to your information. Each employee has gone through thorough background and screening checks to ensure confidentiality. Our communications are encrypted at banking rate standards.
Do I have to pay taxes on my earnings?
You are required to pay taxes. We submit IRS 1099 Misc forms for all payments we send out over $600. This is not something we have chosen but a legal requirement. You will receive a 1099 Misc in the mail detailing your winnings before tax season. If for some reason you have not received your forms, please feel free to contact [email protected]
